Beanie Sigel Signs New Distribution Deal

Guess who's back??? Beanie Sigel has signed a new distribution deal with EMI. The former enforcer for "The Roc" has been back in the studio as of late working on his new mixtape. During a recent interview Beans stated that he was approached by industry veteran Chris Schwartz about the deal.

“That’s what kind of pushed me to really do this album. I was sought out by Chris Schwartz. He had a situation at EMI and was looking for an artist,” Beanie Sigel explained. “I had just recorded a couple songs in the studio. Somebody heard a record and was like, ‘You should check out Beanie; he hasn’t been doing anything."

The "broad street bully" also stated that he had deal offers from major labels, but decided to go a different route this time around.

“The first conversation was kind of generic – it was like, ‘Uhh yeah.’ I had deals on the table; I’ve been approached by everybody from everywhere – from E1, well to Koch first, to E1 to Asylum. For me to sign to a major, it’s like, ‘For what?’ I’m too far advanced in my career to go to a 360 deal. I’ve learned too much of the business to put myself in that position now.”

Sigel still has the talent to be one of the top lyricist in the "game," but was slowed by legal matters and industry strife. In 2010, Beans was rumored to have a deal in place with 50 Cent and G-Unit. The deal never materialized because he was technically still under contract with "Roca-A-Fella" and "Def-Jam."

“If you’ve been through what I’ve been through in my career, you wouldn’t trust no one. You’ll fourth guess everything. What made me do the deal with Chris Schwartz was actually to get the deal together for State Property,”

Sigel is rumored to be working on a album with down south veteran "Scarface." He is also planning for his new mixtape "The Classic," to hit the streets in time for the summer. Mack will bring a aggressive style of rapping back to the game, while regaining his status as a hip-hop legend. Check out a classic Sigel and Scarface calaboration below.

Grand Opening: Xfinity Live! Philadelphia

Philly has a brand new dining and entertainment district. Xfinity Live! Philadelphia is located in the heart of the Wells Fargo Sporting Complex. The new entertainment spot was built, where the old spectrum once stood. Xfinity Live has a sports feel, but will offer a diverse field of entertainment. The venues include: The Philly MarketPlace, Spectrum Grill, Broad Street Bullies Pub, PBR Bar and Grill, Victory Beer Hall and the NBC Sports Arena. Each venue will offer a different attraction for customers to enjoy the atmosphere. The Philly Market Place will play local games on a state-of-the-art 37-foot Sony flat screen TV. The market place is the heart of Xfinity Live, and will become the place for people to watch the big games. 

On those nice days, Xfinity Live! Philadelphia is also equipped to offer outdoor entertainment. The XFINITY On Demand Theater is a 24-foot wide, Sony LED video board, which will show both sports game and family friendly movies. The NBC Sports Field, is an outdoor artificial turf field that will host numerous activities and free concerts.  People should be pleased to know that Xfinity Live is free to enter, but can charge depending on the event for the day. They will also offer free parking on "non-event" nights. If there is a event, parking will be free one hour after the start of the last event of the day. The Xfinity Live Philadelphia doors, will open for the first time on March 30th. Business operation times are 11am to 2am, with a age restriction of 21 and older after 9pm. 

Xfinity Live will become the city's new hot spot as popularity will grow rapidly through the spring and summer months. The opening of Xfinity Live created over 800 permanent jobs for residents from and near the city. Philly is increasingly becoming a place to be, with continued efforts toward job creation and community development.

2 Chainz ft. Meek Mill "Stunt" (Official Video)

Soo apparently its true that some rappers go harder than others. Rap artist 2 Chainz has been grinding his way to the top over the past few years. Now currently signed with Def Jam, the College Park native has been dropping his vocals on any track they will allow him to. Formerly known as Tity Boi and partner with Dollar Boy from Playaz Circle, 2 Chainz is now embarking on his solo career. Moving on from Ludacris's Disturbing Da Peace record label.

Now with Def Jam behind him, it seems that 2 Chainz will at least get some heavy promotion. He just released the video for the track "Stunt" featuring Philly's own Meek Mill. You can find the song on his new mixtape titled True Realigion hosted by D.J. Drama.

This collaboration does wonders for both artists, being that both are shaping their solo careers. Both artists waste no time in telling the viewer that they know just how to spend all the money they acquire from their hard work(lol). Neither artist lacks any confidence and both would love to teach you how to Stunt.

Usher To Play Sugar Ray Leonard In New Movie

Usher is now preparing for a new movie role, while working on his upcoming album. The r&b star has been cast, to play legendary boxer Sugar Ray Leonard. The movie titled Hands of Stone is about Panamanian fighter Roberto Duran. Duran and Leonard squared off for two classic fights in 1980's. Duran won the World Boxing Council’s Welterweight title, after a split decision win over Leonard in the first fight. Sugar Ray came away victorious in the second bout, easily reclaiming his title in a rematch later that year. Duran quit in the 8th round of the fight, famously saying to the referee “no mas," after taking a beating from Leonard.

Robert De Niro and Gael Bernal also will star in the film. De Niro is cast to play Ray Arcell the trainer of Roberto Duran(Gael Bernal.) Ray Arcell is known for coaching Duran to 18 world championships. Usher seems to have already begun training for the role, as he made these comments during a recent interview.

"If you guys see me running around London that’s what it is. If you see me in the corners boxing. I’m doing that while working on this album.”

Usher has his hands full with the upcoming release of his new album and his new leading role. Boxing doesn't seem like it would be Ushers sport of choice, but being a entertainer I'm sure he can pull it off. The movie is scheduled to start filming later this year.

Stalley: Savage Journey To The American Dream(Mixtape)

Soo here we have news on Maybach Music's Group artist Stalley new up coming mixtape. Titled Savage Journey To The American Dream, the mixtape is set to be released on March 30th 2012. The conscious artist  has been hard at work since he signed to Rick Ross's label. He had this to say about the creation of the mixtape. "It's my personal journey to success and it's a savage one. It's my personal journey in the pursuit of the American dream."

Beyonce Drops New Fragrance

Beyonce has added a new fragrance to her perfume line. Beyonce's "Pulse Summer Edition" is a limited edition member of the r and b queen's perfume collection. The Pulse Summer Edition is a lighter scent than the original 2011 Pulse perfume.  The new scent is said to give females, "a burst of inexplicable energy you feel during the summer season." While smelling nice the female is left feeling like she can conquer anything.  With her new scent, Beyonce' aims to inspire all woman to be confident and successful.

 I want women to feel sexy, strong, empowered and I want them to feel like they can conquer anything. When they walk into a room, I want them to feel like they can leave a lasting impression on everyone they walk past. 

Pulse Summer Edition, is scheduled to be available this spring, with a expected retail of $49–$59.
It remains to be seen, weather or not this fragrance will be able to assist woman with their confidence and sexiness. I'm sure Pulse Summer Edition will leave woman smelling nice, but any other achievement will be from that person efforts.

Rapper Curren$y Taking Dame Dash To Court

All those paper planes didn't stop Curren$y from realizing that he was being violated. Curren$y

 is suing former Roc-A-Fella record executive Dame Dash, for releasing 2 albums without the rappers permission. In the lawsuit, Curren$y is seeking $1.5 million in damages from his former friend and business partner. Curren$y claims in 2010, he and Dash were working on a deal to release his music through "Dame Dash Music Group" record label. The deal never materialized and Curren$y ended up signing with "Warner Bros" in Jan 2011. The deal with Warner Bros gave them exclusive rights to all of Curren$y's records. Dame Dash is said to have still released Curren$y's music, although he was signed to WB.

Dame Dash has released a statement since the accusations became public. Dash is claiming that Curren$y "gave him permission" to release the music. Also stating that Curren$y "back-stabbed" him when he signed the deal with Warner Bros. So who is telling the truth here??? During the alleged time frame, Curren$y was frequently seen wearing the famous Roc-A-Fella chain, which was given to him by Dame Dash. So there could have been some kind of verbal agreement in place, between the two parties. Dame Dash should have gotten Curren$y's signature on paper, if he really wanted him on his label. When it comes to legal matters the saying goes, "documentation beats conversation." Dame doesn't seem to have any documents to defend his argument, therefore making the case difficult for him to win.

Comedy Corner: Blake Griffin Meets Lil Blake

Blake Griffin is the latest athlete to have his own puppet. "Lil Blake" was introduced during a comedy skit from Funny or Die. In the mid '90s “Lil’ Penny” was featured in Penny Hardaway's Nike ads. Chris Rock was hilarious as the voice of "Lil Penny," making each commercial popular.  It's been a while since a athlete has featured its own puppet, and been successful at it. The success of Lil Blake remains to be seen. The video features Actor Jerry O’Connell along with Blake Griffin and “Lil’ Blake.”  The video quickly becomes a crime scene, after Lil Blake becomes Chucky lol. Check out the video below.

Did Robert De Niro Insult The First Lady???

Veteran actor Robert De Niro is not being perceived as a "Goodfella" nowadays. Earlier this week, De Niro made a questionable comment while hosting a president Obama fundraiser. De Niro was introducing Michelle Obama, when he made this comment in a joking tone... "Callista Gingrich, Karen Santorum, Ann Romney -- now do you really think our country is ready for a white first lady?" The comment made reference to, the wives of the republican party hopefuls. Michelle Obama took offense to the comment, stating through her press secretary that it was "inappropriate." GOP presidential candidate Newt Gingrich, did not find humor in De Niro's comment either. Gingrich made these comments during a recent interveiw...

"I think the country is ready for a new First Lady and he doesn't have to describe it in racial terms,"

 Gingrich also stated the actor should be "ashamed of himself" for his "inexcusable" remarks. De Niro has since issued a apology for the offensive joke...

"My remarks, although spoken with satirical jest, were not meant to offend or embarrass anyone."

People like to make something out of nothing. De Niro was simply making a joke while introducing the first lady. I don't think his comments were offensive in anyway to Michelle Obama. The joke had a racial tone, but was more offensive to the republican candidates wives. I would have to assume that Robet De Niro is not a racist, since he is married to a black woman.

Trayvon Martin: Will Justice Be Served???

The Trayvon Martin story has become national news, as the public has demanded that justice be served. On Feburary 29th Trayvon was fatally shot by neighborhood watch volunteer George Zimmerman. A few weeks ago the unarmed Martin was shot by Zimmerman, in a gated community in Sanford FL, outside Orlando. After Trayvon Martin was shot, he was found with only candy in his pockets. Zimmerman reported to the police that Trayvon looked suspicious because of the way he was walking and the hoody he was wearing. Trayvon was visiting his father after getting suspended from school earlier in the day. Zimmerman, who is described in police reports as a white male has not been charged with murder. He is currently a free man by claiming self-defense. Florida's "Stand Your Ground" law, allows the right to claim self-defense beyond the parameters of your home.

The public has been in a uproar since Trayvon's tragic death, protesting in support of his family ever since. Protesting has been taking place in Miami and New York, with many supporters attending. Organizers and supporters of the Martin family planned a "million hoody march" in NYC. The "Million Hoodie March" got its name because Martin was wearing a hoodie on Feb. 28, the night Zimmerman shot him. Protesters want George Zimmerman to be charged with the murder of a innocent kid.

Trayvon's parents are keeping their faith and praying that justice will be served regardless of Florida state laws. Martin's mother, Sybrina Fulton made this statement at a recent protest...

"Our son was not committing any crime, Our son is your son. I want you guys to stand up for justice and stand up for what's right." 

Trayvon Martin lost his life because he was racially profiled, by someone who took the law into his own hands. This kind of behavior from an adult is unacceptable and Zimmerman should be punished to the furthest extent of the law.

A Brother Soon To Be...The Big Mac

Soo my corporate people love it when I talk like this.. McDonald's Corp. has just released some interesting news. Chief Executive Officer(CEO) Jim Skinner will retire in a few months after 41 years with the Oak Brook, Illinois-based company. He has held the position as CEO since 2004 helping McDonald's become the worlds No. 1 hamburger chain since being founded in 1955.  Taking his place as the new CEO will be the company's president, and Chief Operating Officer(COO)  Don Thompson, an African American male who has been with the company for 22 years. Thompson will assume his new role starting July 1st 2012.

Thompson, 48, became the president and COO back in January 2010 and he definitely has the skill set and experience for the job. As acting COO he is in charge of global operations for more than 33,000 McDonald's restaurants in 119 countries. Talk about multitasking. Thompson will indeed have to keep the ball rolling as competitors Wendy's and Taco Bell are now testing some breakfast combinations at U.S. locations.  Burger King has also looked to improve on its menu for a chance to compete with the industry leader.

So we moving on up hugh..to thee sky(lol). Maybe since President Obama has elevated to the country's top position you just may see more African Americans in charge of industry leading companies. This can only serve as inspiration to all minorities looking to advance in whatever they shall desire.

PayPal Users Taking Payments On The Go

PayPal recently introduced the first, global mobile payment option for users accepting payments. Pay Pal Here will allows: small businesses, service providers, and casual sellers the ability to send invoices, while accepting debit/credit cards, checks and PayPal using the service. The new service includes a free app and fully encrypted thumb-sized card reader. The card reader allows sellers, the ability to accept credit/debit card payments from buyers on the spot. The card reader is compatible with both the IPhone and Android smart-phones.

With people now equipped with the ability, to accept all forms of payments on the go, entrepreneurship will rise. Small businesses and the self employed, will benefit from the ability to offer their customers more payment options.  Most people when they are out and about, use the excuse of not having any cash to get out of street purchases. This excuse will no longer exist, as these individuals will now be accepting "paper," and "plastic." A release date has not been announced for the PayPal Here service, although customers can be notified by email at Pay Pal.

Soo its that time again, where we take you back to a jam that might have been your favorite. Always a good singer and performer Mariah dug deep this on this one. She went out and added Nas on the remix to give it that real Hip-Hop Feel. The song was taken from the classic hit Make It Last Forever performed by Keith Sweat ft Jacci McGhee.

Mariah and Joe dont quite sound as good as Keith and Jacci but they doo try, yes indeed(lol). The song gives you that same good ole love feeling that two people share who are on the same page. Yes two people who realize what they have, should try to Make It Last Forever.  Nas comes right in and just gives you the street version, telling his woman "you my crown jewel, the type I give my last name to." Enough Said...

The Art of Storytelling: T.I.

Soo on this segment of storytelling, we chose an artist who has the ability to paint clear vivid pictures. Rapper T.I. has proven that he really can spit it out with the best of them. On this particular track he was able to take his thoughts and emotions and tell a heart felt story(lol). The track is titled "Freak Though" produced by Pharrell from the Neptunes. Here T.I. showed a great deal of courage deciding to go public with this information. The story tells the tale of his mental struggle becoming monogamist with a very attractive woman, who just so happens to have a tainted image being that she is known for sleeping around with various men. The talk of marriage and children is definitetly an option here.  He immediately expresses the problem, that a few of his friends from the neighborhood has dated the woman, and her reputation has him second guessing his feelings.

The mature part about the song is how, T.I. is able to explain the positive attributes that he has found from spending time with her. As the song progresses he gets firm in his stance, believing that if he is happy then nobody elses's opinion should matter. This is bold of course, because society would lead you to believe that a woman with such a long track record does not belong in a committed relationship. But why not? Shouldn't everyone have a chance at true love? Can you really judge a person off of their past history, even though they make you happy? Was T.I. the vicitim of some strong whip appeal? Maybe he really enjoyed the idea that he could visit the strip club with her ay his side, leaving no secrets...hmmnnn. Yes I know what you are thinking, T.I. is tripping here(lol). Pharrell clearly sings about all the reasons why he should do it. But there is a subtle voice on the hook repeating the same rebuttal.."But she a Freak Though." Sounds to me as if he is attempting to overcome his fear of criticsm...And its nothing wrong with that at all #ImJustSasying

In the world of fitness, people are always looking for a new tool to aide them during a workout. Nike's FuelBand is the new invention, being talked about and utilized within fitness circles. Nike released the new workout tool in January, hoping to capitalize off peoples "New Years resolutions." Nike created the FuelBand to help people reach their daily fitness goal. The FuelBand also serves as a balance band. Many athletes began to wear the rubber balance wrist bands, when they became popular a few years ago. Nike FuelBands would be considered, the rubber balance bands on steroids.

The FuelBand will tracks your every movement, motivating you to reach the goal set for the day. The FuelBand tracks time, calories, and steps, as well as NikeFuel, which are points earned for being active. You set a workout goal, and as your NikeFuel points add up, LED lights on the wristband glow to show how close you are to reaching your goal. The FuelBands are USB and Bluetooth enabled. This allows users to upload and keep track of their progress on Ipods or computers. Nike FuelBands are being sold for $149.99, but are currently sold-out everywhere.

The Nike product seems like a cool invention, that will most certainly motivate a individual to meet their fitness goal. Someone looking to begin a workout regimen, may go the FuelBand route in their quest for a healthy lifestyle.

Pain is Pleasure...Is Love Blind? Rihanna & Chris Brown

Soo in this particular discussion, we chose to focus on the addiction of both pain and pleasure. Maybe that's just what love is...We all know the history of R&B singers Chris Brown and Rihanna. The relationship came to an abrupt stop when Chris Brown physically beat Rihanna over an argument they had one night after a party. She had a restraining order placed on him and she made it clear that she wanted to move on from him. Well the old timers say, in due time all wounds heals, and certain strong negative feelings may fade. That same type of outlook could be appropriate for this situation. Since the Grammies reports have been buzzing that Rihanna has welcomed Chris back with open arms. Listen to the song below, Please use caution the lyrics are explicit.

Both hearts must have grown fond, because the two have appeared on each others songs as of late. Rihanna asked Chris to be on the remix of Birthday Cake, then Chris asked her to be on his track Turn The Music Up. This may come as a surprise to some, because soo much attention was given to the matter, and most people believed that physical abuse to any woman should not be accepted or tolerated. Is it that easy for women to walk away from an abusive relationship..? Probably not a clear cut answer to be given. One thing is for sure, is that there are strong emotions present here that both just cannot suppress. Some are disappointed by her actions including big homie Jay-z, he has made it clear publicly that he will never forgive Chris Brown for his violent behavior. He has recently indicated that he is deeply disappointed by her decisions concerning Chris.

When asked about her choice for added Chris to the record Rihanna stated "It just makes sense" He is the hottest R&B artist in the game right now." Now there could be some truth to that, being that history has shown that major public successful seems to give folks amnesia. But were not judging here, who knows what those two shared. We just want to know if its possible to enjoy both pain and pleasure at the same time. Can you be addicted to both??

Jay-Z Ex-Partner Pleads Guilty To Drug Trafficking: Kareem "Biggs" Burke

Soo we just found out what the Roc has been cooking. Kareem "Biggs" Burke one of the two business partners(Damon Dash) along with Jay-Z who founded Roc-A-Fella records, has been arrested along with 44 others and he has just pleaded guilty to charges relating to a major major drug trafficking case. Burke now faces six years in prison for conspiring to distribute more than a 100 kilos of marijuana. Reports have it that Burke was caught on a wire tap speaking on the growing process. Burke was once apart of a rap movement that comanded the ears of the public and was arguably the strongest team coming out of New York.

According to MTV news The bust came after an 18-month investigation involving U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement in New York, the Drug Enforcement Administration and the New York Police Department. The city's Department of Investigation and Special Narcotics Prosecutor's office was also involved in the takedown, which resulted in the obtainment of nearly $2 million and more than 360 pounds of marijuana.

Prosecutors claim that the marijuana was being grown in Florida, then transported to New York to be sold for street value. The operation was known as "Green Venom" and has allegedly been running for 20 years.

Soo here we have some new music from your man Escobar. Funkmaster Flex just released the track titled "The Don." This is Nas's 2nd single off of his upcoming album tittled Life is Good. The single was produced by Salaam Remi, Da Interz and the late Heavy D.  The song has New York reggae feel to it, signifying Heavys' contribution. As always Nas provides his fans with some hard core lyrics indicating that hes about ready to make his return.

J. Cole - Nobody's Perfect ft. Missy Elliott (Official Video)

Roc Nation artist J-Cole has released the new video for his for his hit single "Nobody's Perfect." The track which features Missy Elliott on the hook, is directed by Colin Tilley. During a Grammy awards interveiw with Mtv's Sway, J-Cole predicted his new video would be his best to date. Cole also expressed his appriciation for Missy agreeing to get on the track.

"Man, just to have Missy on that set and to see her singing the song that I wrote," the Roc Nation rapper said. "It's Missy, I don't think people really understand. That's my era, and how I look at her and how creative she is and her and Timbaland and the things that they did — that was a beautiful moment right there."

It's a positive sign to see Jay-Z putting a little money into his artist with the most star potential. J-Cole should have had just as big a 2011, as MMG artists "Wale" and "Meek Mill," but his project seemed to be on the back burner. Maybe Jay-Z was too busy with telling everyone to watch the throne. That Red Meat Will Kill You

Changing eating habits has become a ritual for individuals across the country. The routine of trying to figure out what to eat for breakfast, lunch and dinner is a daunting task. It's even more difficult to figure out what is healthy, from what's not healthy for you to eat. The average American lives on the go; likely eating out, more than at home. With fast food joints located in abundance on city streets like pharmacies, its hard to avoid eating unhealthy foods. The most common desire on a fast food restaurant menu consists of red meat. I would like to believe that most people eating burgers and cheese steaks understand the ramifications of their meal selection. Would these folks continue to eat red meat consistently, if they knew they were cutting years off their life span???

Living in the land of the cheesesteak, locals consume a large amount of red meat in their diets monthly. A recent Harvard study, found that the more servings of processed or unprocessed red meat people eat daily, will increase their chance of dying over more than a 20 year span. Eating red meat, which is high in saturated fat and cholesterol, was already viewed as unhealthy, especially for the heart. The new study, however, is the first to estimate the effects of consuming red meat over a person's lifespan.

Based on the Harvard study, researchers estimate that substituting one daily serving of red meat with fish, poultry, nuts, whole grains, or low-fat dairy products would reduce the risk of a early death dramatically. As the weather begins to become warmer, most are now devoted to living a healthier lifestyle. We all could start by limiting or eliminating red meat from our diets. Lets become more conscious about the foods we consume daily, it could mean life or death.

Good Parenting?...Dad Teaching In The Streets

Soo lets travel down to the sunshine state and get a glimpse of a concerned parent who decides to take matters into his own hands. The story has a good amount of humor to it, as a father makes his son stand on a busy intersection down in Miami wearing a somewhat embarrassing sign for having failed 3 subjects in 7th grade. The sign explains the the boy has been a class clown on one side, and tells that he has failed three classes on the other.
The father spoke to the reporter indicating that he is both concerned and upset by the actions of his son. I believe the fathers actions proves that he is committed to the progress of his son(lol). The son speaks as well, seemingly to be remorseful for his failure.

Instagram is one of the most popular social apps for Apple IPhone users. The innovative photograph application, is featured in the Apple Store for free download. Instagram allows you to take pictures and add numerous special effects to enhance the image. User of the Instagram app can then share pictures on their network, for followers to view and leave comments. Instagram is competing with popular, social media applications "Twitter" and "Facebook." It seems as though the Instagram fan base increased rapidly since the release of the new IPhone 4s in November. Last year, Apple also recognized Instagram as their "App of the Year" recipient.  Instagram has grown to over 27 million registered users, nearly double the 15 million recorded in December 2011. 

Since its launch in 2010, Instagram has only been available for download to Apple device users: Ipod Touch, Ipad and Iphone. With the recent rise in popularity of the app, Instagram creators Kevin Systrom and Mike Krieger  recently made a interesting announcement. While at the SXSW festival, Systrom broke the news of a Instagram app being designed for Android users. Systrom made this comment during the technology event...

"it's one of the most amazing Android apps you'll ever see," and continued, "in some ways, it's better than our iPhone app."

Apple users cant be happy with news, of the android app operating better for Android users.  Patience is once again a virtue, as Andriod users who lobbied for the Instagram app, will now have a better version at their grasps. The release date for the android version of Instagram has not yet been announced, although officials stated it will be coming "soon."

Should The Eagles Sign Peyton Manning???

Peyton Manning's time in Indianapolis came to a end last week. The Colt's released the best Quarterback in franchise history, in a attempt to rebuild the team. Now that Manning is a "free-agent," for the first time in his career he is faced with the task of finding a new team. Peyton has already begun the Free Agency process, with visits to Denver Broncos and Arizona Cardinals. He has a scheduled visit to meet with the Miami Dolphins. NFL insiders have stated there is also a mystery team or two in the mix for Manning's services. Now let the what ifs begin... What if the Philadelphia Eagles made a play for Peyton??? Is this the move that would help the team win a Super Bowl???

The Eagles currently have Michael Vick signed to a $100 million contract, to be their starting QB. Vick is a dynamic QB but has some glaring issues with accuracy and injuries. Vick is about 6 feet tall and barely can see over his offensive line . The vision issue limits Vick's ability to see down the field and complete the intermediate pass. Vick has not been able to complete a entire season without missing games with injuries. Vick being injury prone also decreases his value to a team, that needs their starting QB to be available down the stretch.

Peyton Manning coming to Philadelphia would make the Eagles a instant contender for the Super Bowl. The question that most NFL general managers have when it comes to Peyton, is his health. Manning missed the entire 2011 season with a neck injury that required several surgeries. Since being released Manning has declared himself healthy and ready to play football. Peyton would provide the Eagles with a field general; that can make the calls at the line, and immediately find the open receiver. Manning could utilize the speed the Eagles have at WR with DeSean Jackson and Jeremy Maclin. He would also benefit from having a top running back in Shady McCoy; who can also catch out of the back field. Manning also has a relationship with current Eagles offensive line coach Howard Mudd. Mudd coached the Colts offensive line for ten years while Peyton was the QB. With Peyton being familiar with the current offensive line schemes, this would make for a easy transition.

Manning is said to have expressed a interest in staying in the AFC, but may be willing to play for a NFC team. At 35 years of ages, Peyton is looking to play for a team that can win the super bowl. The Philadelphia Eagles shocked the NFL last summer, when they signed top free agent cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha. When the Eagles signed Asomugha, they were not mentioned as one of the teams that had expressed interest. The Eagles came into the picture at the last minute with a offer Nnamdi couldn't refuse. Can the Eagles shock the sports world again with a surprise signing of Peyton Manning??? Only time will tell, as the NFL Free Agency period is set to begin on Tuesday. Stay tuned!!!

Soo today is the day that Christopher George Latore Wallace was murdered back in 1997. Also known as Biggie Smalls or The Notorious B.I.G., Biggie spirit still lives on, only thing missing is his physical body.  People all across the world today are paying their respects to an elite artists who seemed to transfer his electric energy through his music. With only 2 complete albums recorded, Biggie is arguably the greatest rapper to spit on a mic.  Engaging into the melody, Biggie seemed to swing on a track like a jazz musician.

Attention Deficit: Is Your Child's Classroom Too Big?

Soo lets direct our attention to the world of education in the Philadelphia public school system. I'm sure many parents, teachers and social workers can relate to this article being that many children have and will be diagnosed with Attention Deficit Disorder(ADD) or Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder(ADHD).
The diagnosis labels the individual as being unable to sit still with a short attention span, defiant, forgetful and hyperactive.

These labels most times presents a negative outlook on a child's behavior, being that they are viewed as uncontrollable and they may need additional services to help contain their behavior.  My research and observations from children ages of 6-12 years old has led me to challenge some of these cases.  It appears to me, that in many cases when the same child was placed in certain learning preps which called for a smaller group(2-6), the child was much more receptive and responsive to the teacher. The behavior tendencies that were present in a large classroom, were not at the forefront in this somewhat isolated environment.  There were minimal signs of defiance or hyperactivity, actually the child seemed eager to participate and learn. By the teacher being able to give full attention to students, there was less room for horse play and nonsense. Furthermore allowing the environment to be quiet so everyone can focus and stay on task.

Once returning back to the larger class room where there are at least 28 students, for some reason these behaviors surface again. Is it because there is only one teacher present, making it a challenge to give an adequate amount of attention to each child in need?  Will the child now become easily distracted by the other kids' ill behaviors in the class?  Now of course every class has those disobedient kids who will just do as they please with no regard to authority. I am simply speaking on those, who show signs of cooperation in certain settings while failing in others.

I believe its possible that if the same child received direct consistent attention from all of their teachers, there would be less complaints on behaviors and more praise on improved levels in academics. As important is the size also is good teaching methods. Good strong teachers seem to always cover the mishaps in our system.

In conclusion, to actually decrease the size in every classroom in the public school system, to address all needs, would make it a political matter. In the last year we have have seen significant budget cuts in the education sector in this city alone. The cuts have had an effect on classroom size, and in some cases leaving good teachers out of work. Here I thought the children was our future...

Jay-Z and 50 Cent To Perform At SXSW Music Festivial

The annual "South By Southwest"(SXSW) festival is set to begin on Friday March 9th. Fans of the "arts," flock every year to Austin TX, to attend the week long event. SXSW is said to "offers the unique convergence of original music, independent films, and emerging technologies." The "music" portion of the festival is a favorite of patrons, as they are able to check out, new talent along with established artist at the same event. This year the festival coordinators didn't disappoint, as they will feature Jay-Z and 50 Cent, along with a number of other artist.

Jay-Z will offer a unique concert experience as he along with American Express will offer a live stream of his concert set. Also Jay-Z will allow veiwers to interactively participate in the concert through twitter. Jay-Z fans can help pick his setlist for the concert, by tweeting the hashtag #Song and also can reach Jay himself with #JayZSyncShow. The concert can also be viewed on demand through AMEX's Youtube and Twitter pages, as well as XBOX Live on March 12th, 8PM EST.

50 Cent will also be performing at the festival; which is scheduled to conclude on March 18th.
Curtis will perform his 2003 album Get Rich or Die Tryin' in its entirety during the Shady 2.0 Showcase at this year's festival. Get Rich or Die Tryin' is hands down 50 Cents best work, as he was able to produce several hit records from the classic album. Along with 50, joining him on the card are Shady's Slaughterhouse and Yelawolf. Big K.R.I.T., Schoolboy Q, Action Bronson, Don Trip, STS and The Foodchain will also perform during the "The Next Phase" set, hosted by Sway Calloway.

They Always Watching: Don't Text While You Drive

Soo starting at 12:00am on March 8th 2012, a text-based communication law for Pennsylvania will go into effect. The law prohibits text messaging, instant messaging, e-mail or any written communication composed or received on an Interactive Wireless Communication Device.
According to Penndot, an Interactive Wireless Communication Device can be defined as a wireless phone, personal digital assistant, smartphone, portable or mobile computer or similar device.

This law has come into effect because over the past 2 years there have been numerous accidents in the state of Pennsylvania because the drivers were distracted using their phone in some kinda way. As always, some accidents become fatal.

Should you choose to ignore this law, and they catch you, $50 shall be your penalty. Therefore, all the tweets an status updates on your way to work or to the gym, will cost you now(lol). Be smart folks and drive safe.
