Hip-Hop Will Speak For The Grammys Again...

Soo this year the 54th Annual Grammy Awards show will have an actual host.  They have chosen hip-hop icon  LL Cool J to do the honors. Already familiar with CBS LL stars on their hit show 'NCIS: Los Angeles.' He also has hosted "Grammy Nominations Concert Live!!... A Countdown to Music’s Biggest Night” special, where the top nominations are revealed.

Uncle L didn't  bother to hold back his emotions as he stated... "I will always have fond memories of my first Grammy Awards and to now be hosting the Grammy show, in the company of so many other incredible artists, is a dream come true. Great performances and great music — it’s gonna be a great night!”

The decision to have a host this year may come as a surprise to some, being that the Grammys has gone without a host for the last 7 years. The last host was Queen Latifah back in 2005. A year which attracted 19 million viewers a rather smaller figure compared to last years 27 million.
Hopefully the numbers can stay steady, as this year's performances will include artists such as Nicki Minaj, Taylor Swift, Bruno Mars and Foo Fighters.

The Show is scheduled to air on February 12th 2012 from 8-1130pm ET/PT at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, CA. Are you looking forward to watching the Grammys this year?
