Can Chivalry Be Misunderstood??

Soo in the world of romance, Its possible a good gesture maybe accepted along with a certain level of expectation.  While we were out scanning the community for relative information. We found ourselves presented with an unusual scenario, that was given life with an array of emotions. The scene takes place at a bar/restaurant on the west side of Philadelphia. Here three anonymous attractive females felt the need to unwind with a drink during the happy hour time slot. Luckily the ladies were able to find open seating at the bar.  In the midst of drinking, texting and exhaling a gentleman overwhelmed with desire, took the liberty to send one of the ladies a food item off of the happy hour menu. This was his final gesture as he was just unsuccessful in signaling her over to him. Persistent and courageous you may add, maybe. Fact is, the food item was a single $1 taco. Yes I know, simply unbelievable.

It would be hard to describe the energy that filled the circle after the delivery. One immediate response injected "I'm Appalled." The intended recipient, seemed to be puzzled and turned off at the same time. Meanwhile her counterparts mumbled obscenities while their eyes were fixated on the single chipped beef $1 taco.  With justified anger in her voice the recipient spoke..."Who does this.. Who sends food at a bar?.. A $1 taco tho!"?? Eventually finding humor in the situation, the group was able to calm down. Still the group made it a point to avoid eye contact with the gentleman for the remainder of the night.

So who's at fault here?(lol) We wanted to fully explain the situation to give you a chance to form an educated opinion. Was this act disrespectful and down right tasteless? Or were the women overreacting as the gentleman clearly has his own definition of chivalry...?
To be clear all the events stated above happened in true fashion, and the characters were left anonymous for security purposes.  This is all in fun and we always want to have a good time with our viewers.
Check out the video below, for this song seemed to fit oh so well. Lmao!!

  2. Although his actions had good intent behind them it was what he sent where the problem lies. I think it's her fault 4 expecting more than what she got maybe he thought she looked hungry.LMBO
People is not measured on how much they have but what they do with it. I'm just saying.

  5. You see this is the year 2012 and we men need to stop doing all those dumb gestures. Most of thesethe ladies in today's society lack basic home training. In the scenario mentioned in this posting, maybe the guy felt the woman was an attractive one but like the saying goes, everything that glitters ain't gold. Therefore she gets the dollar taco. Well done whoever you are dude. Viva the man code. Lol. Mil I you sent that wet, dryer beef taco to that thing. Good job my brother.

  6. I can see the girls being upset because dude sent a taco but if the shoe fits!! LoL. .. . I do hope that dude steps his game up and next just trys to speak to the lady instead of sending a greasy taco (which I love!). I don't even think it was the fact that it was $1 either its just unheard of t send any food to a lady as a way to get her attention!! To the ladies get over yourself & to my dude brownie points for being different but that might not want to be an avenue you want to venture down again. I'm just sayin'

  7. This is so ironic because I was the server to these females nd I asked who does things like this first off before he ordered it he made sure the taco was only a dollar...at that point I realized we had a baller in our midst lol it was cheap of him he was in a bar send her a drink duhh!!!!

  8. This is just hilarious!! My quick and short opinion is the ladies overreacted...I don't think it was THAT big a deal...I would've laughed it off. I have a good sense of humor so I would have taken it as his humorous way of breaking the ice. But if he was indeed serious, he needs to get it together...like Orgasmic_head (side eye for that name) said he was at a BAR why not send a DRINK?!?! That would have been more apropos! Is this dude a teenager or early 20's. I hope so cuz if he was over 30 that is a sad state of affairs for us women (lol) None the less, it made me laugh!! LOL

  10. As one of the "anonymous ladies" I should add that we were far from upset. The gesture was not meant to be humorous.....but it was very funny to us. More than anything, it left a cloud of uncomfortable energy. We were confused and embarrassed for the guy. It was simply in poor taste. I would have preferred for him to just walk over and spark up a conversation. As many of you pointed out....who sends a food item at a bar? I'm just saying.....and shout out to our server orgasmic-head who represented well!
