So the burning question over the last 24 hours is weather Lauren London is pregnant with The Dreams child. If this is the case, it would now be the second musician that London has produced a baby for. The first baby father is Mr. YMCMB himself Lil Wayne. It is known that Lil Wayne and ATL songstress Nivea recently had a child together. Nivea was also in a long relationship with The Dream. So what is really going on here??? Are these guys swapping females or is it just a coincidence??? Both The Dream and Miss London have strongly denied the rumors, but like I always say "where there is smoke a fire will follow.

D'Angelo Makes His Return??...

Soo its been almost 11 years since the Neo Soul artist D'Angelo has provided his listeners with a taste of his artistic music. Reports have it that the, he is putting on the finishing touches on his highly anticipated album titled James River set to be released either December 2011 or sometime early 2012.  The talented singer has not really completed any real projects since his successful albums Brown Sugar and Vodoo.  Rumors have it that the albums features an array of collaborations from Raphael Saadiq, ?uestlove, Cee-Lo, Roy Hargrove and yes even Prince.

 D'Angelo has announced his upcoming performance dates set for early next year. The concerts will start in Stockholm Jan 26, 2012 & Paris in January 29, 2012. These shows could be a pre-lude for some much needed soulful music.

What's a political race without some juicy drama... A presidential race at that. Republican Herman Cain is the candidate favored to run against Obama for President. So who is the new Monica Lewinsky wanna be??? Her name is Ginger White. A fitting name for a "jump-off" lol. Woman Pepper Sprays Customers: Competitive Shopping

Soo this year is no different than any other Black Friday shopping. Anxious consumers all around the US have been waiting for the opportunity to "shop till they drop", As we all know, the idea of this day has created a "need" instead of a "want." Many shoppers take this day very serious, for they feel this is their only chance to complete their Christmas shopping and save at the same time. Some people will go further than others.

Last night at a Walmart in Porter Ranch, Los Angeles, a woman took the liberty to pepper spray her fellow shoppers as she was fed up with the long lines and the rowdy energy. She was simply there to take advantage of the sale on XBOX 360(lol). Her actions created immediate chaos as the spray affected twenty customers, including children. Injured shoppers complained of minor skin and eye irritation and sore throats.  Los Angeles Fire Capt. James Carson stated "The woman used the spray in more than one area of the Wal-Mart to gain preferred access to a variety of locations in the store...She was competitive shopping."

Soo here we are again, on a family oriented holiday. Since this day is suppose to be about giving and being thankful, we pose the question, "Just what are you thankful for?" Well let us start it off, Im Just Saying is thankful and totally grateful for our fans and their support. We honor this day as a national holiday, and we would like to encourage family bonding.

This day provides a warm feeling as most women will be slaving in the kitchen to create a tasteful spread for the entire family to enjoy. Anything goes today, as far as cooking is concerned, for even some will deep fry a turkey.  Most men will put their liver at risk today consuming all types of alcohol including spiked egg nog. Once allowed to sneak away from the congregation, football then is the main focus(lol)

Nicki Minaj Drops Details On Her New Album...

Soo its obvious Nicki now wants some of the Billboard spotlight, being as though her label mates have soaking up soo much news lately. The animated rap star has just recently tweeted her sophomore album titled and release date. The new album is set to drop on Valentines Day(February 14, 2012) titled  Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded. She obviously is gonna keep this Roman thing going, for this is her alleged male alter ego Roman Zolansk. Yea I know...very strange

Its no telling how many different characters Nicki will explore on this project, and she always seems to have an authentic voice for each of them(lol). Soo just what can we expect on the new album? Reports have it that the album's production dares to mix with the genres of pop, hip-hop and R&B, with production from array of producers including J.R. Rotem, Bangladesh, Swizz Beatz, T-Minus and will.i.am.

Drake Goes Gold In First Week: Take Care(Album Sales)

Soo as projected, Drake's sophomore album Take Care has sold over 630,000 copies in its first seven days according to Nielsan Soundscan. The highly anticipated album has gained much buzz all across the music industry landing in the #1 spot on the charts. This album stays rather consistent, with the tempo as of his first album Thank Me Later(1.5million sold to date).

Seemingly satisfied with the news of the sales Drake tweeted "I can't even find the words to express my appreciation...thank you and I owe you" is all that comes to mind...truly.,"

The Sixers Move On From HIP-HOP

With new ownership comes change. The 76ers new owners have already begun to change the fan experience by drastically dropping ticket prices. They will also make a change to the teams mascot. The new owners polled the fans and asked them what changes needed to be made. A overwhelming response was to make a change, to the current mascot "Hip-Hop." Most fans felt like a muscular rabbit did not symbolize the team or the city of Philadelphia. The76ers will now be on the lookout for a new mascot to represent the team. Snoop Dogg & Wiz Khalifa: Mac & Devin Go To High School Movie Soundtrack(Tracklist)

Soo as you probably already heard Snoop Dogg and Whiz Khalifia are set to produce a film titled Mac & Devin Go To High School which features the two rap stars in a high school setting out in Los Angeles, CA. Whiz plays a somewhat square nerd who looks to upgrade his swag by hanging with the popular and always cool Snoop Dogg. The film doesn't have a release, but the film is rumored to be released in late 2012.

The official soundtrack for the movie will be available for purchase on December 13th 2011. The first single they released "Young, Wild & Free," ft Bruno Mars has been well received by the public, giving their fans a taste of wat's in store on the soundtrack.

Starting December 5th the two will begin their mini tour to promote the music, here are the dates below:

One More Look At Yo! MTV Raps On Dec.4th

Soo this news here, may just serve as an early Christmas present to all the old school hip hop junkies. MTV has announced their plans to bring back the retired hit show Yo! MTV Raps for a one-off special on December 4th. The popular show had a nice run from 1988-1995, giving its viewers a taste of pure hip hop every Saturday morning.

MTV2 will air the show following the first Annual Sucker Free Awards which is set to premiere at 11p.m. EST. On the special, original hosts Ed Lover, Dr. Dre and Fab Five Freddy will revisit some special moments that the viewers loved, including interviews with A Tribe Called Quest, Ice Cube and Geto Boys. There will be guest appearances by artists such as Fat Joe, Questlove, Naughty By Nature and few others.

This special airing could be looked at as a tribute, being as though this show played an integral part in the emergence of hip hop. Everybody who was anybody had to come through, and showcase their talent on the microphone. Many artists gave timeless performances on the show, for this was the hip hop stage during this time. Jeezy Talks Politics, Mentoring And TM:103 Album...

Soo your man Young Jizzle, recently sat down with Dj Whoo Kid for a lengthy interview to discuss a variety of topics. As usual Jeezy wasted no time to let his fans know how he  feels and exactly what he has been up to.  In the interview Jeezy expresses his support for President Obama, and his concern for current politics.  Jeezy showed some signs of maturity as he spent some time talking about, how he has assumed his role as a leader and mentor.

Is DeSean Jackson Broke???

When there is smoke, there is sure to be a fire to follow... DeSean Jackson was inactive for the last Eagles game, for missing a "team meeting." After this past Sunday's game, reports surfaced of teammates having a issue with Jackson after he portrayed himself as being "bigger than the team." DeSean made it clear yesterday that he was still frustrated over his contract issue. Jackson also spoke to the entire team and apologized for his me first attitude. This is just the beginning of the D-Jax drama... Reports surfaced this morning of DeSean Jackson being in serious financial trouble. Supposedly Jackson has been using his agent  Drew Rosenhaus's credit cards to survive the past few months. Eagles reporter Howard Eskin made this statement during a recent interview...

“From what I’m told, [Jackson] owes Drew Rosenhaus a lot of money. . . . We’re talking hundreds of thousands of dollars. Is he broke? I don’t know how you define broke, but I know when he signs his new deal he will owe Drew Rosenhaus a lot of money.”

Also a source close to the situation reported that while out at Dave & Busters, Drew Rosenhaus complained to another Eagle client, Lesean (Shady) McCoy of Jackson being in debt with him. Rosenhaus was heard saying that he was "incapable of helping" Jackson get a new deal because he is not putting up the numbers he did the last two seasons. He went on to say that Jackson should not expect a new deal because of his play. This would explain Jackson's recent benching and resurfacing concern for a new contract.

Did NBA Players Make A Big Mistake???

Did the NBA players union pass on the best possible deal from league owners??? Negotiations have been stagnant between league owners and the players union for weeks. The players union is seeking more than 50 percent of the basketball-related income(BMI.) Players were guaranteed 57 percent under the old deal but the proposed split is said to be 50 - 50. The owners reported over $200 million in lost revenue last season, and look to recoup the funds, through a more reasonable BMI split.  This afternoon the players union rejected the latest proposal from the league owners. Union vice president Maurice Evans made this statement after the latest proposal was rejected...

"We understand the consequences of potentially missing the season; we understand the consequences that players could potentially face if things don't go our way, but it's a risk worth taking,"  "It's the right move to do."

This is ultimately bad news for all NBA fans, as the lockout continues with the entire season now in serious jeopardy of being cancelled. NBA commissioner David Stern made it very clear that the players union have made a big mistake in rejecting the latest proposal... Stern also made this statement...

"The chances of the season slipping away from us and the players losing what they have worked very hard to achieve ... it's really a tragedy,"

Most feel that the NBA players are being greedy and don't have a concrete reason for rejecting the latest proposal. Should the players have taken the latest proposal???

T.I. and Tiny Get VH1 Show

So we have another reality TV show that will peek the interest of many viewers. T.I. and his wife Tameka “Tiny” Cottle will star in a new VH1 reality series "T.I. & Tiny: The Family Hustle." The show will follow the “King” as he continues his rap career, after recently being released from prison. The show will also display the couples relationship and family side as they raise 6 kids in the same household. VH1 is set to premiere ‘T.I. & Tiny: The Family Hustle’ on Dec. 5th at 9pm.

The Roots Honored With Mural... And Will Offer Class

The Roots will be honored by the city of Philadelphia with a mural and multimedia project. Mayor Michael Nutter made the big announcement honoring the Philly band over the weekend. MC Tarik "Black Thought" Trotter, is all too familiar with murals, as he use to engage in plastering walls with graffiti back in the day. Thought referred to the honoring as "ironic and a blessing," stating as a youth, his hobbies were summer art camp in Fairmount Park and Saturday classes at the Fleischer Art Memorial. As a teen "Thought" was once court-ordered to paint for the Mural Arts program to make up for illegally spray painting city walls. Trotter stated during the honoring...

 This represents a 360 degree evolution, he said. This isn't just a great step for art education in Philadelphia, it's a great step for art education in America.

The mural is just the beginning of the project, which is also set to offer a educational program. The storefront where the mural is to be painted, will be converted into a classroom for Mural Arts education students. The Roots will teach a curriculum called "Roots 101", which will be accompanied by an online lesson guide. The Philly band will teach about the intersection of art and music and the history of music. The location of the mural arts project has not yet been determined, but is expected to be somewhere between 3rd and 6th streets on South Street. The beginning of the mural is set to begin this fall, with a expected completion the summer of 2012.

Wish You Were Still Here...Heavy D

We would like to take the time to pay respects to the late Hip Hop legend Heavy D for he passed today.
He was rushed to the hospital in Los Angeles where he was pronounced dead at 1pm pacific time. Investigations are taking place, but no foul play has been suspected as of yet.

Dwight Arrington Myers(Heavy D) was born on May 24th 1967 in Jamaica. His parents moved him to "Money Earning" Mount Vernon, New York when he was a child. He was the leader of his group Heavy D and the Boyz which was formed in the mid 80s. They were the first group to be signed by Uptown Records releasing there debut album "Livin Large" 1987. Their most famous track "Now That We Found Love" was released in 1991. Heavy also wrote the theme song for the hit comedy show "In Living Color."
The group had its first experience with death back on July 15th 1990 when group dancer Trouble T.Roy died during a dance rehearsal, he was the brother of hip hop producer Pete Rock, inspiring the hip hop classic song "Will They Reminisce Over You" by Pete Rock and CL Smooth.

Heavy went on to fulfill his career as a rap artist spending some time recording reggae as well.  He was known as producer industryy, as he collaborated with the likes of Jay-Z and Beanie Sigel.
This is a substantial loss to the hip hop community as Heavy was noted as a forefather to the game, being that his music was relevant as the culture began to achieve success.
Heavy was 44 years old and he will be missed dearly, R.I.P...We Wish You Still Here..

Drake & Rick Ross Mixtape: "You Only Live Once"

Soo supposedly rap star Drake, has hinted around the idea that he and Ricky Rosay just may unite for a duet mixtape.  Drake had originally announced year that he and Lil Wayne would put an album out together, but that projection has yet to materialize. Drake spoke in the XXL magazine interview, saying that he has been working on a mix tape with Ross titled Y.O.L.O (You Only Live Once). Drake implied that he has been gathering his material  daily, but he has not be able to connect with Ross due to his recent health implications.

One thing for certain is that, Drake loves to work long side Ross, stating in an interview with Entertainment Weekly, "One of the people I enjoy rapping with most in this business is Rozay, me and him have talked about potentially doing something after our albums comes out. I just love making songs with him. Every time we make a song it just seems to be something I love listening to after the fact when I'm in my car."

Has Drake and Wayne's relationship really become strained? Its not confirmed anywhere, but it is possible, why else wouldn't the two rap giants make it a top priority to produce a collaboration album. Maybe schedule conflicts(lol).

As for Drizzy and Rozay the two stars do seem to have good chemistry as they already have produced a number of songs together. Can this union challenge the likes of Jay-Z and Kayne West? Deniro To Play Bernie Madoff In HBO Film...?

Soo, who else could HBO go get to really imitate the character of a witty, sinister businessman who seemingly was easy to trust? Well judging by Deniro's resume he should have no problem with this one(lol). The 68 year old actor is set to play the role of convicted swindler Bernie Madoff  in HBO’s upcoming biopic film Truth and Consequences: Life Inside the Madoff Family. Through his company Tribeca Productions, Deniro is producing the film which is directly related to the book with the same title. The book was written by Luarie Sandell, who received help from Bernie's son and mother. In both the book and film, the story explores the aftermath of Madoff's arrest and the obstacles the family had to face as a result.


For those unfamiliar with the story of Bernie Madoff, he a former Wall Street investor who scammed more than 16,000 investors out of an estimated $50 billion with a Ponzi scheme. He was tried and convicted, resulting in a 150 year prison term. The plot thickened when Madoff's eldest son was found dead back in December 2010 in a controversial suicide ruling. In addition Madoff's wife, Stephanie Madoff Mack, published her own memoir, a biography titled The End Of Normal: A Wife’s Anguish, A Widow’s New Life.

The film should give viewers exactly what they are looking for, as Deniro just seems to flourish in these type of roles.

Wish You Were Still Here..."Smokin" Joe Frazier

We would look to pay our respects to a Philadelphia boxing legend, who proved to be everything true of a fighter. Joe Frazier Born in Beaufort, S.C., on Jan. 12, 1944, had the passion for boxing at a young age. He rose through his amateur ranks in the early 1960s and became the only American fighter to win a gold medal in the 1964 Olympics in Tokyo. Turning Pro a year later Frazier quickly made a name for himself in the sport by defeating his first 11 opponents. With an aggressive and courageous approach in the ring, Joe would become the undisputed heavyweight champion in 1970, by defeating Jimmy Ellis at Madison Square Garden.

He is probably best known for his relentless victory bout over with Hall Of Fame boxer Muhammad Ali. Frazier defeated Ali On March 8, 1971, at Madison Square Garden. The fight went 15 rounds and Joe won by unanimous decision. This brutal clash was hard hitting to the end, resulting in both fighters spending time in the hospital directly after the fight. The two will forever be linked together, as Ali offered this statement in remembrance of his legacy. "I will always remember Joe with respect and admiration, my sympathy goes out to his family and loved ones."

Frazier's energy shall always be felt in Philadelphia as he was considered a hero to many.  His famous gym served served as a stepping stone for many of the up and coming fighters in the 90s.
Joe Frazier passed away on November 7th 2011 in his final fight with liver cancer.
